OAA membership is open for all Order of the Arrow
members, past and present who serve,
or have served in Overseas Lodges. All
Arrowmen and Scouters can also become "Associate Members" of the OAA without
having served in an overseas Lodge.
Registration
Form
Dues are good for two years - the next re-registration date is January 2010.
Members receive the OAA member patch, pocket card, and issues of the Deep Water
Traveler newsletter.
Information regarding our next
National OAA Reunion in 2009 will be included in our Spring 2009 issue of
the Deep Water Traveler. The Reunion will be held in conjunction with the
National OA Conference in Indiana.
Wearing
OAA patches and emblems:
Flaps, recognition awards, square knots and sashes issued by the OAA can be
worn during official OAA functions, such as Chapter meetings, reunions, and
other OAA type events. The pocket-type patches can be worn as normal
"temporary" patches at any time and displayed on the right pocket of the
Scout uniform. Please refrain from wearing OAA emblems during non-OAA
events whenever possible.

International fellowship
of Honor Campers from overseas Lodges of the Order of the
Arrow.
Dedicated to help strengthen
home units, Chapters, Lodges and Councils.
Conducts OAA Reunions at National Jamborees, National Order of the Arrow
Conferences, and other national Scouting events.
Local Lodges of the Order of the
Arrow are eligible to conduct their own OAA Reunions whenever there are 5 or
more Arrowmen who serve, or have served in overseas Lodges present.

The "Deep Water Traveler" is the official newsletter of
the OAA. It is sent to all OAA members several times annually. The
publication contains news, articles, history, member rosters, etc.

In commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in 2007 and the
upcoming 100th Anniversary of the BSA in 2010, the OAA has issued a special
collector set of flaps and pocket patch that come together to form the
larger patch at left.
100 sets have been issued plus an additional 25 NUMBERED sets have also been
issued. However, the 25 numbered sets have sold out. We have a few of the
standard sets available.
Proceeds of the sale will go towards providing campership assistance to
needy Scouts in selected overseas councils.
